BHRFC Host Chobham and Ditchling

BHRFC U9s-U11s hosted 3 coaches full of players and parents from Chobham RFC all dressed as Mario and Luigi on Sunday, plus a small contingent of U9s from Ditchling.

Despite the wettest March in living memory and some last minute pitch reorganisations, the 1st team pitch was divided into 2 U9s & 2 U10s pitches and 1 U11 pitch.

All ages groups had a great time playing throughout the morning and hosting their opposition. Whilst the weather held off most of the morning, but that didn't stop all the players getting covered in mud with the result of the 1st team pitch now looking like a cross between the Somme and Glastonbury at the end of the festival!

The club house was literally taken over by a very lively crowd of Nintendo characters after the games had finished and there was a real buzz of energy throughout the clubhouse.

Well done to Tom and his volunteers, especially Jez on the BBQ for hosting somewhere in the region of 200+ visitors. Also a big BHRFC thank you to KJ Thorne’s Butchers supplying the quality meat for the BBQ.
