Well weren’t we lucky on Sunday! After the torrential rain on Saturday night and the downpour on Sunday morning at about 9.20, I thought we were in for a very wet training session. Luckily enough, the rain stopped and all teams at BHA on the 3G and those at the Club enjoyed pretty good conditions considering!
Well done to our U13/14 team who despite several players unavailable, put in an excellent performance down at Bognor Regis – check out the Club website or the facebook page for the match report.
A big thank you to all of the children who respectfully observed the two minutes silence for Remembrance Sunday.
This Sunday, the U12s are away at Lewes for their second Waterfall League match of the season. After some tough friendlies recently, it will be good to see how they fare – best of luck to the players and coaches.
Our U14s are at home for their next Waterfall League fixture against Brighton. Again, this will be a tough fixture so best of luck to all involved. If any of the younger players and parents wanted to stay and support the match (KO at 11am) I am sure the support would be appreciated.
There has been a 6 week rugby taster programme running at BHA and we are looking forward to welcoming a number of those girls along this Sunday to join our slowly increasing group of girls.
Kitchen rota this week is U9 parents from 10 and U13/14 parents taking over later. Remember post match – please do offer to help with the tidying up and washing up – don’t leave those who have kindly done all the cooking and serving having to wash up and tidy away as well.
Finally – those who were recently involved on First Aid Course – I’m pleased to say all teams will have their own First Aid Kit very soon and I would like to set up a quick follow up session for all qualified first aiders to agree the best way for all of us to support all of our junior and mini teams. Look out for an email.
