Hi All,

Once again, we were fortunate to enjoy a great weekend of rugby with teams playing at festivals in Midhurst, teams playing matches at home and teams enjoying training at the club. Loads of great photos on the club facebook and match reports for the U13/14s match v Hastings on the FB page and on the website. Very well done to all the players for some great performances.

Thanks to all those who helped in the kitchen on Sunday and in setting up, serving and tidying up afterwards – a busy day at home with feeding of 60+ boys following the two matches. An especially big thanks to Lucy who cooked a field’s worth of potatoes on Saturday night in advance of matches!

A couple of updates for you all. Firstly, from this Sunday, all tag rugby (U6/U7/U8) will move to the 3G at BHA – training will take place at the same time as usual. Your coaches will have advised you accordingly.

This means an update on the kitchen rota to reflect this plus any away fixtures – so between now and Christmas this is as follows:

Parents of team to provide 2 people for the time slot shown

Plus match help (tables out, serving, clearing up, etc.)

XMAS PARTY

This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday so we will have a two minutes silence at 11am. It would be appreciated if you could let your children know in advance.

If your child is awaiting a rugby shirt since joining this season, there has been a delivery of new shirts. Please speak to Steve or I when you see us at the Club. For those at BHA, please send us an email, and I will make arrangements for these to be given to your team coach for handing out. For those older children with big feet(!) we have now taken delivery of some larger socks for you to buy.

Finally as a reminder, there is a Quiz Night at the Club this Friday – it would be great to see a lot of parents along. Please check out the website for more details.
