Dear BHRFC friends and members!
I hope you are all well and ready for the next few weeks lockdown!
I wanted to send out a note on behalf of the Club’s Exec team to bring you up to date with the current situation and what the RFU are doing?
Unfortunately and not surprisingly the RFU must follow the Government guidelines and have dropped back to Stage A on the Return to Rugby Roadmap. See details below.
With this in mind, all training is on hold until we receive more information, which will be around the 2nd December. The clubhouse, including the Gym will be closed throughout this time for activities.
Please keep in touch with your team coaches for any updates and keep watching our Social Media channels for Club updates.
As a club, we managed the previous Lockdown thanks to the help and support of our Exec team and you. I have no doubt we will cope throughout this next period and will look to come back stronger, as soon as possible
I would like to pass on my thanks to all our members who have adhered to the guidelines since we’ve been back in helping us all to stay safe during this time.
Please also remember your Coaches who have been working hard (especially now the weather has kicked in) to keep you all updated, including ensuring the kit is cleaned before and after sessions so that the players can keep safe, I pass on my thanks to them, keep up the amazing work.
We appreciate all our members and the financial support your provide via your membership, however, for any members that would like to pause their membership, please do so via the RFU GMS System that you used to register yourself (and children). If you are unable to do this, please send in an email to me and we can sort out refunds accordingly to cover this time.
Some Great News!
After experiencing the vandalism of our Veranda a few weeks ago, we are really pleased to announce that through the support of you and many local businesses we have raised over £3k to enable us to fix the rails and more. Thank you so much, it is times like this that we are reminded of the Community we live in and what Rugby means to you all.
