It was a spectacular night that saw he club buzzing with young children playing and enjoying rugby. The atmosphere was fantastic with great support from across the junior and senior sections of the club and, as shown by the picture below, some new special effects that the club will now be able to use for club events in the future. The rugby was fast paced with plenty of tries and tackles from all teams- and most importantly lots of smiling faces.

An immense amount of work went into pulling off such a great night and the club thanks every coach and parent who was involved, from planning to delivering a fantastic event: those who planned out the pitches, the teams, the schedules; the refs from across the club; our first aiders and time-keepers. And all those involved in planning the event from raising sponsorship money to run the event, purchasing equipment, setting up the club for the night, branding refs shirts, Hi-Vis’s and aprons, cleaning the clubhouse, cooking on the and BBQ in the kitchen, sorting out off site parking and ensuring the club site was safe to hold the event.
With such a great first event we now have the blueprint to use going forward to hopefully host more of these types of evenings at the club.
