We have ourselves a special game day today! It's a Derby day away to our local foe, Haywards Heath rugby club.
Head Coach Tutts has been preparing the troops well this week and we have licked our wounds from the narrow one point loss last Saturday Vs Eastbourne 2s.
Bourne were by far the best outfit we have faced this season combining youth and experience very well. Despite dominating territory and possession and playing against 14 men for 60 minutes we could not seal the win making defining mistakes they capitalised on.
MoM went to hooker Ben Dewey who was solid all afternoon carrying hard, chopping like a Canadian lumberjack in defence and delivering arrows Luke Littler would have been proud of.
Try scorers were full back Tomer Teichmann, fly half Chris Robson-Close and the returning Ram Man junior, Bailey Upton.
Today sees a few changes due to injury and holiday however a full contingent of 22 shows our strength in depth. With our captain Adam Rezazadeh (Rezzy) picking up a knee injury last week, Ben Dronfield (Dum Dum) is stepping up to lead the team.
Heath have a lunch before hand where the likes of Liz, Hasib and Wattsy will be getting suitably oiled to cheer us on.
If you do get a chance look at the two respective Heath opposition fly halves on both pitches today. Don't worry it is not a glitch in the matrix, Team Lewis are proving once and for all who is the "Better Lewis"
We look forward to seeing as many of our supporters over at Whitemans Green cheering on our men in Black!
KO 2pm.
